VBS

Each summer, in July, our church offers one-week Vacation Bible School (VBS). This program includes Bible stories, crafts, games, music and other activities intended to introduce children to the saving love of God through our Lord Jesus Christ. It is offered for children ages 4-12.

Gems (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour)

During the school year, once every other week, our church runs a GEMS program which is for girls aged 6-13. It is a relationship-building club program created especially for girls. It is a program offered throughout Canada and the U.S. The purpose of the GEMS program is to help bring girls into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. To help foster this all-important relationship between each girl and Christ, other relationships are nurtured as well — between the girls, and between girls and their counselor (leader).

Cadets (Calvinist Cadet Corps)

During the school year, once every other week, our church offers a Cadets program, which is for boys aged 5-11. It is an independent (non-denominational) youth ministry organization whose purpose is to provide the local church with a ministry program that will enable them to effectively share Christ's love with boys from their church and community. Luke 2:52 states that "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." The goal of Cadets, based upon that verse, is to help boys to grow spiritually in all areas of life (devotional, mental, physical, and social).
